The Challenge

Client B is an established F&B operator with 3 outlets in Singapore, serving authentic Indonesian cuisine. Each outlet operates and produces its own food independently. Many of the processes carried out at each outlet are duplicates of one another and the measurement realised that it is operationally inefficient for such arrangement to carry on. Moreover, labour fatigue is a major issue as a huge number of kitchen process are still manually performed. Inevitably, kitchen processes are often time consuming and yield a low output.

 

The Solution

Client decided to build in a new central kitchen, to centralise all the kitchen processes and reduce duplicated processes for all its restaurant outlets as well as its catering services . To help automate its kitchen processes, client has planned to invest in a number of equipment including combi ovens, blast freezer, vegetable cutter, potato peeler, cooking mixer, dishwasher, walk-in chiller etc. We performed an in-depth analysis and propose to request for IGP funding based on our findings and recommendation. We were pleased to help our client secured a maximum funding of 50%.
